FFA Meeting Minutes for 11/29/05

Committee Reports:
Organization committee, which consists of Carol R, Katelyn M, Noah C and Charity J, stated that there would be a sign up sheet that is to be filled out by 12/9/05. They also stated that they cleaned out the file cabinets.

Old Business:
Cornell Leadership Conference, Clean out weekend and Committee reports

New Business:

Item: All girls need to purchase a skirt that is knee length with black tights and black cover toed shoes.
Item: David, Thomas Cooper, Charity Jump, Bret, Katelyn and Noah are all available for the Friday after school clean out of the shop and the classroom.
Item: During the 10-minute recess the FFA members were asked to come up with a list of games that we could play in the future after the meeting in the high school gym. These games included Kickball, Speedball, Ping-pong, Badminton, Fencing, Dodge ball and Marksmen.
Item: Katelyn, Charity and Thomas all volunteered to help out at the CCC tournament. Whoever helps with the tournament will get a free trip to the bowling alley party.

Motion: motion made by Thomas and seconded by Carol to read the treasures report.
Motion: Leigh made the motion to do bowling after the fruit sale came in at the king ferry-bowling alley that next Saturday. Everyone who sold fruit is allowed to come. Motion clearly passes.
Motion: Motion made by Sam and seconded by Thomas Cooper to have a 10-minute recess. Motion clearly passes.
Motion: Sam motioned and it was seconded by Thomas to have a Christmas concession stand at the CCC basketball tournaments.
Motion: Motion made by Sam and seconded by Nick to go to the previous question. Motion clearly passes.
Motion: Motion is clearly passed to definitely do the Christmas tournament as long as we have times and dates and enough volunteers.
