Check List

Review your child’s schedule, is it what you expected? Every student needs six classes, PE, and lunch.

Discuss your expectations about the future with your son or daughter; is college the plan or with s/he go into the military or world of work?

Ask about your child’s day, difficult courses, favorite courses, friends, interests, activities, sports.

Encourage participation in any extra-curricular activity.

Remember you are your child’s number one advocate. If something does not seem right or is bothering you or your child, come speak to the teacher(s), guidance counselor or principal ASAP.
