As discussed at Curriculum
and Staff Development Council the state is promoting a Math Initiative. An application for this can be found at http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/ciai/mst/application.pdf
After going thorough an application process, the individuals chosen will
receive extensive training and then be able to provide information on a number
of math topics to teachers in the field.
More information can be found about the Math Initiative can be found at http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/ciai/mst/minitiative.html
It would be great to have someone or some people from our area a part of the
solution. Please consider this and
encourage people who you fell might be well qualified to take the opportunity
to complete the application and submit.
If you have questions, e-mail me or Teresa Calabrese-Gray
