Ava Harvatine Reaches 500Ks, A Historic Milestone for SCCS Softball

Congratulations to SCCS senior Ava Harvatine on an incredible milestone, recording her 500th career strikeout for the SC Varsity Softball team! Ava reached number 500 on March 30, 2026 when SC played Groton and won by a convincing margin. This outstanding achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and talent on the mound.

Reaching 500 strikeouts is no small feat, and it reflects countless hours of practice, perseverance, and commitment to her team. Ava’s leadership and determination continue to set a great example for her teammates and our school. 

We are so proud of you, Ava on reaching this school record and milestone, what an amazing accomplishment!
