Southern Cayuga Seeks Community Input to Enhance School Food Service Program
Southern Cayuga Central School District is exploring opportunities within its food service program to better meet the goal of providing healthy, nutritious, and appealing meals for students and staff.
As part of this effort, the district is considering a variety of enhancements, including expanded made-from-scratch meal options, farm-to-table initiatives, and other innovative approaches to school nutrition and dining experiences.
To support this work, Southern Cayuga is seeking interested parents and community members to serve on a Food Service Advisory Committee. Committee members will collaborate with district staff to discuss ideas, provide feedback, and help guide future planning for the district’s food service program.
Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to complete the district interest form by May 21. Selected participants will be contacted with additional information regarding committee meetings and next steps.
