Southern Cayuga Central School Athletics Hall of Fame
Mission: The Southern Cayuga High School Hall of Fame was founded in (Fall of 2014). Its purpose is to recognize the accomplishments of former athletes, teams, coaches, administrators, and contributors to the SCCS Athletics program. These role models exhibit the qualities of athletic excellence, leadership, sportsmanship, and being a positive influence on the program.
Yearly Timeline
March through August - nominations will be accepted
September 1 – nomination deadline
September through November – review of nominations by committee
December – committee finalizes candidates and sends letter of invitation
January or February – recognition of inductees

Dear Southern Cayuga Community,
The HOF initiative aims to honor the remarkable individuals and teams that have made a significant impact on our athletic program and community.
Nomination Deadline: On or about September 1
We invite all community members to submit nominations for candidates in the following categories:
Athlete
Must have competed in more than one varsity sport, unless they excelled in a unique situation within one sport.
Must be a minimum of five (5) years since graduation.
Should exhibit extraordinary dedication to athletics and the community, demonstrate leadership, and have set records or won awards.
Coach
Must have coached for a minimum of five (5) years within the district.
Must have been separated from the district for at least two (2) years.
Should demonstrate sportsmanship, coaching with honesty, integrity, and fairness, while expecting the same from their athletes.
Team
Must be a minimum of five (5) years since the year in which the team achieved its success.
Must have achieved championship status in league, sectional, regional, or state competitions during a season or seasons.
Honorary
For individuals who have provided distinguished service to the athletic program or exhibited exceptional dedication to Southern Cayuga Central School athletics.
Nominations can come from any source and should be submitted to any Hall of Fame committee member. Each nominee will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire to provide additional information that will assist the committee in making their decisions.
We encourage you to recognize the exceptional contributions of our athletes, coaches, teams, and supporters by submitting your nominations. Let’s celebrate the achievements that have made Southern Cayuga proud!
