Volunteer Application ProcessThe Southern Cayuga CSD recognizes the contributions that community members and parents can provide for our students and teachers. Whether you are looking to help in classroom, join students on a field trip, or support the Got Book program, all volunteers should complete a volunteer form on a yearly basis and submit through the online link provided at the bottom of the form.
The volunteer completes and submits the form online three (3) weeks prior to volunteering.
The building principal reviews all volunteer applications, checks reference(s) if necessary, and approves the application.
The volunteer application is then submitted to the district office for SCCS Board of Education approval as required by district policy.
The Superintendent and Board of Education review and approve volunteer applications at regularly scheduled SCCS Board Meetings.
The District Clerk will provide each building secretary an updated list of approved volunteers. Volunteers can contact the building secretary to find out when they were approved.
